Tada, 16th -17th century, Copper. Suggested that it portrays a servant/messenger, emese/ilari of yoruba royals. His left hand gesture has been interpreted as an Ogboni/Osugbo society members symbolic greeting. The style of this figure closer in style to some Benin works.
